School Nurses at Westminster PCT receive ERIC’s Bespoke Training
Westminster PCT’s School Nursing Team received Nocturnal Enuresis training as part of the school nurse induction programme in September. The Team, which covers a large area of central London, undertook ERIC’s Fundamental ‘Three Systems Approach’ Nocturnal Enuresis training course.
Speaking about the day, Jessica Streeting, School Health Team Lead said; ‘We organised the ERIC bespoke training day to help improve our enuresis service within the PCT. Many of the team had not had any enuresis training before and we recognise how important it is for nurses to feel confident in delivering this service. The training was excellent and will help our school nurses achieve Tier 1 knowledge. Nurses will now be more confident in providing advice, support and information to children suffering with nocturnal enuresis and hopefully, we will now be able to set up more clinics, coffee mornings and drop-in sessions. I would certainly recommend bespoke training days as the information we received was tailored to our needs as a team.’
